Freeway & Jake One

The new album collabo by Jake-One and Freeway came out today on CD, and next week on vinyl. They are both crazy, not only the music but the layout of both products. The cd folds out into a wallet with 4 $1 bills of both Jake One and Freeway, with an instrumental download card. The vinyl comes with the picture money too and the vinyl is a marble green. Shit is fresh. Check out these videos if you don't believe me.

Oh Ya...The music is dope too

RIP J Dilla

As one of the best known producers of all time J Dilla was always doing his own thing. Whether he was with Slum Village, Common, Phat Kat, Erykah Badu, Q-Tip, A Tribe Called Quest, The Pharcyde, Busta Rhymes, Dwele, Madlib... he always did his thing. He will be forever missed in the hip-hop community and as an influence for a lot of people. Today February 10th, 2006 Jay Dee died of Lupus. In honor of him I want to share some of the videos, which he has produced, layed down a rap in, sampled, or appeared in. Here we go...the BIG 10 of J Dilla

Sound familiar? The original sample from "Love Jones"
