As one of the best known producers of all time J Dilla was always doing his own thing. Whether he was with Slum Village, Common, Phat Kat, Erykah Badu, Q-Tip, A Tribe Called Quest, The Pharcyde, Busta Rhymes, Dwele, Madlib... he always did his thing. He will be forever missed in the hip-hop community and as an influence for a lot of people. Today February 10th, 2006 Jay Dee died of Lupus.
